Miller has made a gradual move from the drivers seat to the top of the pit box as a key leader of the newly formed JV, SS-Green Light Racing. His role consists of coach and crew chief to SS-Green Light's young talent. He also supports the team as a competition advisor.

"I enjoy helping new drivers that join our program. I feel when I help someone learn something about racing I'm helping myself as well" says Miller. "I like helping other people -- especially when they are hungry to learn about Motorsports."

In 2002, Butch won in his debut with SS Racing in front of a hometown crowd at Berlin Raceway in Marne, MI. He went on two record two more victories that year while running part-time in the ASA Series. He was also named, for the first time ever, the ASA / 51 Sports Most Popular Driver of the Year. Miller compiled (7) ASA wins with SS Racing, while racing fulltime in 2003 and 2004.

Miller has competed in NASCAR's Winston Cup & Busch Series as well as NASCAR's Craftsman Truck Series where he was victorious several times. He ran (3) CTS races in 2005 and (2) events in 2006.

The 3-time ASA champ was also part of the ASA television broadcast team in 1999.

Butch and his wife Donna and live in Mooresville, North Carolina. His two children Hank (who also races) and Kasey live in Michigan.
